Because we aerate the tea, and it is freshly brewed, there is a bloom of naturally occurring live beneficial microbes present. The naturally occurring beneficial microbes help guard against damping off, powdery mildew and a host of other maladies as well as repel aphids, spider mites and other pests. Plant available nutrients in worm castings are higher than in any other fertilizer, manure or compost.
