Emergency Preparedness Conversation

April 13, 2018 @ 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm

**refreshments provided**

You are invited to join us for a systematic review of the food and water assets and gaps in our region as they pertain to times of emergency and natural disaster. This will be a facilitated work session with leaders from throughout the community to help us understand how we can better prepare our schools, businesses, organizations, and overall community to respond to both small and large scale disasters. Please come prepared to discuss your organization’s preparedness plans as they relate to food and water for employees, clients, students, and or other audiences served. Resources to improve your organization’s resiliency will be available as well as opportunities to discuss additional disaster topics made available.

The most vulnerable among us often suffer the most during emergency and disaster. We hope to develop plans that will reduce chaos, hunger, and water shortages in times of emergency. Cross-sector participation in this event is key! If your business has anything to offer in times of emergency, please attend.
