2007 Schedule: 15 April to 15 October, each Friday 8 am-2 pm at The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce office, 404 West 2nd Street, The Dalles.
Interested vendors: The cost is $15/vendor space per week. There's also a community table operated by students from North Wasco County School District. They charge 20% of the value of the items sold for a maximum of $15/vendor. The funds support youth programs.
Acceptable items for sale include fresh and processed and dried agriculture products including fruits, vegetables, flowers, jams, jellies etc. Those who will be selling products through the community table can sign-up weekly from April 15-October 15. The Wasco County Farmers Market is a collaborative effort between local producers, The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce, The Small Business Development Center, Wasco County Soil and Water Conservation District, Wasco County Farm Bureau, North Wasco County School District, Master Gardeners and the OSU Extension Service.

2007 Gorge Grown Farmers’ Market In our second season, the Gorge Grown Farmers’ Market will take place once again at the Hood River Middle School, Thursday evenings from 4-7 p.m. We're hosting a special market May 24, 2007, for plant vendors and others with goods for sale. This year, our farmers’ market will run June 14 - Oct. 4, 2007, and fresh food, live music, kids’ activities, and more will be waiting for you. Hood River Middle School student vendors will be selling produce grown in their school garden just feet away. Food Stamps (EBT) and Debit cards will be accepted. During the growing season, Dancing Moon Farm will provide members with freshly-harvested vegetables and fruit weekly. Growing Season Management, LLC, is in the process of developing a USDA Certified Organic processing plant for small batches of chickens on their property in Lyle, Wash. Plans are to have the facility up and running by next summer.
Currently, Growing Season is collecting information on the possibility of acting as a co-packer for small poultry producers in Oregon and Washington.
