Our Projects

Gorge Grown Farmers' Market

Gorge Grown Farmers' Market

We founded our market in 2006 to help get fresh, local food into the hands of consumers and give farmers a profitable channel to sell their goods. The market is open Thursdays from June - October.

Gorge Grown Mobile Farmers' Market

Gorge Grown Mobile Farmers' Market

The Mobile Market increases market opportunities for small farmers and improves access to locally-grown fresh foods for rural Gorge communities without farmers’ markets or grocery stores.

Who's Your Farmer?

Who's Your Farmer?

WYF? is a free directory of small farmers within the Gorge region. It serves as a reference tool for consumers, restaurateurs, and producers, helping them to connect and grow local markets.

Community Food Assessment: Columbia Gorge Region

Community Food Assessment: Columbia Gorge Region

The 5-county CFA process is helping us to collect vital information on our local food system and to engage community members in identifying assets and needs around food, hunger, and farming.

Producer Working Groups

Producer Working Groups

Gorge Grown facilitates regional working groups for farmers and ranchers to work toward solutions for regional challenges.

Farm to Institution (Schools, Food Banks, & More)

Farm to Institution (Schools, Food Banks, & More)

We work with food banks to help increase the amount of fresh produce available in pantries via donations and purchases – an economic benefit for farmers and a health benefit for families in need.
