Folks often ask us: what can I do to help?
The answer: LOTS!
If you live in The Dalles or Stevenson, we encourage you to join one of our regional leadership teams. In 2010 we will be piloting a Community Food Leaders program that gives folks the tools to take local action on community food issues! We hope to expand this program to the entire Gorge in late 2010.
Don't live in The Dalles or Stevenson but still want to help out?
We have lots and lots of tasks that can benefit from volunteer energy. Our farmers' market is always in need of smiling faces at the info booth, our office is always in need of generous filing and mailing help, and events like our annual Feast on the Farm absolutely depend on dozens of dedicated servers, setters-up, and so on. Here's a partial list of opportunities:
